Introducing Adobe Spark Post on Android: Download the Beta!
We know you’ve been patiently waiting for a long time—like FOR.EV.ER. But the wait is finally over! We’re thrilled to announce the first public beta release of a Spark application on Android. Starting today, Spark Post is available to download on the Google Play Store.
Wait. Did you say beta?
Don’t worry—it’s built on the same foundation as the iOS and web app so you’ll have intelligent graphic design at your fingertips and have access to the same set of fonts, shapes, color palettes, design filters, templates, and more that help people create stunning graphics in seconds. At the same time, we’re staying true to the native Android interface and technology in order to deliver a first-class mobile experience, so there are a few things we’re still tinkering with. But since the app is almost there, we didn’t want to keep Spark Post from Android fans any longer than we had to.
So what’s included in the first public beta release?
Short answer: almost everything the iOS and web app offers.
The Android app lets you easily apply beautiful typography and design filters to any photo in your camera roll, CC library, or to thousands of stock photos available for free in Spark Post. After installing our new Android beta, you’ll find the core set of Spark Post features that you love on iOS and web. That means you can start from templates, resize in one tap, apply design filters, and easily make your design pop with beautiful typography. If you’ve been using Spark on the web, your projects will sync across devices.
